What will happen in a session?

During your appointment with Anita, she will observe you without judgment and note how you do whatever you do. She will see what you’re doing well and she will help you notice how you may be interfering with yourself. She often will use her hands gently and respectfully to help you let go of anything that is consciously or unconsciously getting in your way.  In each session, you will acquire tools that will allow you to let go of limiting patterns and discover easier choices that will lead to ease of movement and thought.

Many students feel relaxed and uplifted after a session. Gradually, through awareness and practice, you will learn to move beyond old habits and into a new way of being in the world.

For many years I had been suffering from the consequences of a stubborn head-forward-position. The tight neck muscles did barely allow me to turn my head sideways or look up without pain. Frequently I had headaches. Exercises to loosen the muscles and years of massage did only make minor, temporary improvements. Anita patiently and gently went to work on my neck and shoulders. Soon I could feel how the hardness left. Then she walked with me, and with several gentle prompts, taught me how to be more naturally aligned and upright without effort.
